Over the next several weeks, we will introduce each of our agents so that you can get to know the team and a bit about them. Having a better understanding of who you're working with is paramount, and we want to make this process as easy as possible for you. 

Take a moment to get to know Tanis a little better by reading his response to these interview questions:

Why did you decide to become a real estate agent?

I wanted a career that gave me the ability to build my own business, and the freedom of controlling my own income. Real estate gives me the opportunity to build relationships with people from all walks of life, and help them achieve what is often one of their biggest goals.

What made you choose Precision Home Group?

As soon as I walked into the office, I could see the strong culture of driven and independent professionals that were determined to achieve their goals. I knew that if I wanted the same for myself, and to be surrounded by people that push me to be my best, then there would be no better place to work than Precision Home Group. This was the first real estate office I visited and no one else compared after.

How long have you been with the company?
I have been with Precision Home Group since the beginning of September, so pretty soon I will be hitting the 9 month mark!

What are your day to day job roles/expectations?

Every day we start the morning off with a team meeting to see where everybody is at with their targets. This is also an opportunity for each person to share some of their wins and learning points from the previous day. 

Before following up with all of my current clients, I make a point to get in touch with anyone who’s had issues with selling their property in the past. I do this to offer pertinent information on their home, the current market, and to provide them with the assistance they need to get their homes sold. There is always something to do when it comes to my pending sales, but with all the people involved my schedule varies from day to day.

What are your real estate goals for the remainder of this year?

My goal for 2021 is to sell $10,000,000 of real estate, and learn as much as I possibly can to refine my skills and take that target to the next level as soon as possible!

What is one of the most valuable things you have learned so far?

People often underestimate the amount of work needed to achieve their goals. As a good rule, you should multiply the action you expect to take by 10, create a plan of action on how to get there, then put in the work!

Fun fact about you?

Before deciding to go for it with my passions for real estate and small businesses, I actually studied art and medicine. Though I'm not putting splints on people anymore, I do still find time to work on various painting, writing, and music projects!
