A Letter From Mrs. Seller 5/14/2020

I asked Mark our realtor if there was a way I could express our love for this home to potential buyers and he said "write a letter with your feelings and I'll make sure they get it".

Gee, my letter would be shorter and I'd save ink if I could just write about the things we don't like about this home and property! (Which would really be nothing)!

Seriously we love everything there is about this home and its location! For starters it's like coming home to a retreat within the city every day!

We have no window adornments on the rear south wall, the privacy of our backyard allows us to take in the view of the manicured lawn, gardens and Otis Lake. The large windows let us enjoy the southern exposure "let the sunshine in"! Even in the winter when there isn't as much of it. And when there is sun we get it along with natural light and also beautiful winter sky and sunsets.

The lake attracts a lot of wildlife. Several species of water foul thrive on the lake once the ice is out and until it freezes over. Neighborhood Eagles hunt and fish the lake and there is always a browsing moose or two.
Friends and neighbors use the lake and almost everyone has a canoe, kayak or paddleboard. Some have sailboats. Fishermen enjoy the stocked lake both in the summer and ice fishing in the winter. Plus ice-skating right out your back door. Some of the neighbors plow the ice to make skating trails and large skating rinks for all the kids.

This is a wonderful home to raise a family just as we did, lots of privacy within given the finished full basement with the bedrooms and two family/rec rooms (one is so large you could easily make it into an additional master bedroom, even has closet and egress window). We have wonderful neighbors and with sad hearts will be regretfully leaving behind a lot of neighborhood friendships.

I'll miss terribly the midtown location and all of the conveniences. It is so close to all amenities. Churches, universities, three hospitals, doctors and neighborhood schools which are excellent. The library, shopping, Costco, parks and miles of bike trails!

This home has so much inside and outdoor storage, actually allowing room in our ample garage for your vehicles. So nice to be able to park in a heated garage in the winter especially when you don't have to shovel the heated driveway!

The only reason we're leaving is that our boys are all grown up and now have families of their own and we're moving to live in our forever dream/retirement home, otherwise we'd never give this home up. We hope the next owners will love this ready to move into home as much as we do!
