Inside, you are embraced by the natural beauty of the log surfaces and structure, the vaulted ceiling with an abundance of natural light, an open kitchen with an island, and the inviting wood stove. Animal skins, artifacts on the walls, and all furniture and linens are included in this turn-key retreat. Public water and sewer is an added convenience, while fast WIFI and decent phone service allow you to keep in touch with the outside world.

Completed in 2004, this log home was first constructed in Hope, British Columbia before disassembly and shipment to Yakutat in 7 shipping containers. The approximately 900-square-foot shop was added in 2015. The home and shop sit on .478 acres.
