Elmrich is a great place to live because it is one of the older and more sophisticated neighborhoods in town. It is located on the east side of Anchorage and within a very close distance to JBER. The first phase of home construction began in 1965 and the second phase ended around 2002. The older homes in Elmrich have one to two car garages and the newer ones have heated three to four car garages. Most of the homes in this location have spacious kitchens, lots of natural light, fireplaces, and large fenced in backyards.
