Government Hill is a neighborhood in Anchorage that is located just north of the Ship Creek area. It is bordered by the port of Anchorage to the West and JBER (Joint Base Elmendorf Richardson) to the East. The first phase of these homes were built between 1945 and 1962 and their amenities include spacious kitchens, large living spaces, plenty of storage, and two to three car garages. Being another neighborhood near Downtown, it has close access to the Tony Knowles Coastal Trail and there are also several parks within the Government Hill neighborhood.
